A simple, fully organised outback adventure — here’s what you can expect

Fly to the Goldfields

Meet the group in Perth for your included morning flight to the Goldfields. You’ll be collected at the airport and taken to your accommodation.

Daily prospecting adventures

Each day you’ll travel by 4WD to hand-picked gold-bearing locations, with expert tuition, support and all equipment provided.

Relax each evening

Return to comfortable accommodation, enjoy a hearty pub-style meal, and unwind before the next day’s adventure.

What’s included in the tour?

This is a fully hosted experience with everything organised for you. Your tour includes return flights from Perth to the Goldfields, comfortable hotel or miners’ donger accommodation, all meals, daily 4WD transport to the day’s prospecting area, and the use of Minelab’s GPX 6000 and Gold Monster 2000 detectors. You’ll also receive hands-on training and support, plus all essential tools such as a pick, scoop, vial and headphones. All you need to bring is your clothing and sense of adventure.

Do I need my own metal detector?

No. The tour includes the use of Minelab’s GPX 6000 and Gold Monster 2000 detectors, along with all necessary accessories. Everything is set up and ready for you each day. If you're new to prospecting, you'll receive full instruction before heading into the field, making it easy to learn and feel confident.

Will I find gold?

You’ll be taken to carefully selected gold-bearing locations chosen for their strong potential, giving you the best possible chance of success. However, gold is never guaranteed, and every find is unique. What we can promise is expert guidance, proven ground, and the excitement of knowing that any signal could be something special.

What type of accommodation is provided?

You’ll stay in comfortable hotels or miners’ dongers depending on the tour location. Rooms are clean, air-conditioned and designed for rest after a full day in the outback. You’ll have a single room, (doubles are available for couples) an ensuite and laundry facilities. This isn’t camping — it’s a proper, comfortable base for your adventure.
